When filling in the background screening form, you are required to provide the last 5 years of your address history.
We understand that this may not be possible for some candidates, as you may have a period with no fixed address. Reasons for this may include periods of homelessness, foster care, or constantly being on the move for personal reasons.
If you've had a period with no address for one of the above reasons, this'll need to be registered as a period of 'no fixed abode'.
You'll first need to select 'add manually' under the address section.
Once selected, please type "NO FIXED ABODE" under address line 1 and 2.
Please note, you will still need to provide a town. This can be the general area where you stayed, for example London.
Additionally, you'll need to provide a postcode—we recommend entering the postcode for a random property in the area you provided, along with the dates for this period.
If you resided at a hotel for an extended period of time during this period, please provide the address for this hotel, and the dates that you stayed there.
