Having Trouble Uploading Your Passport? Here's How to Fix It
If your passport image was rejected — don’t worry! This is a common issue and usually easy to sort out. For legal and security reasons, we follow strict ID image standards, so even small mistakes can lead to a rejection.
Here’s how to make sure your next upload gets accepted.
❌ Common Reasons We Might Reject Your Passport Image
The image is blurry, too dark, or low quality
Parts of the passport are missing (like the photo or the numbers at the bottom)
The file type isn’t supported or is too small/corrupted
There’s a glare, shadow, or reflection over the page
We can’t confirm it’s real — scanned copies or edited photos are not accepted
Examples of invalid & valid passport images
How to fix it
✅ What a Good Passport Image Looks Like
It’s taken in a well-lit space (daylight works great)
The entire passport page is visible — no corners cut off
The text and photo are clear and easy to read
There are no shadows or bright lights on the page
It’s uploaded as a JPEG or PDF file
? Tip: Don’t scan or edit the passport image — just take a clear photo using your phone or camera.
