Once your background check information is submitted, you're unable to edit any of this information.
Therefore, if your legal name has changed since you submitted the information on your candidate portal, it is imperative that you let us know as soon as possible.
This change can have a big impact on your checks, so it's important that we know as early on in the process as possible.
As many checks require this information - such as a DBS check - it is likely a new order will be required for you if any of your checks have begun or been processed.
In this case, you will need to ensure the new form is filled out with your up-to-date current legal name.
If none of your checks have begun, it is likely we can update this so that your checks can proceed as normal - hence why we would require this update to be disclosed to us as early as possible.
