What you'll need.
An Authority Form PDF provided by Verifile or your employer/other institution.
How to sign.
- Once you have opened the link signfree.io in your web browser, upload your Authority Form document by selecting the Upload document button as seen below:
- Your Windows file explorer / mobile files app (Choose File or similar) / MacOS Finder will open.
- Select the Authority Form document and select Open (Windows example below).
- At the top of the page, you can add a signature which will allow you to draw your signature.
- Once you have drawn your signature into the designated box, click confirm to proceed.
- You can then drag your e-signature into the required field as seen below:
- Once you have selected Next after filling out the form. You will be able to download the form and/or send it to a recipient.
- If you chose to email the signed document to your own mailbox, the email will come into your inbox as shown below. Once you have received your document you can provide this to Verifile.
You can upload both a printed & wet ink signed authority form which has been scanned electronically or photographed, or a digitally signed PDF copy of the form to your Background Screening form.
Alternatively you can reply to our email requesting the form and enclosing the document as an attachment.
