• Can I get a copy of my background report?

When all checks are completed, we send a final report to the company requesting your checks with the results of all checks we carried out.

During the background screening process, Verifile acts as a Data Processor on behalf of the organisation requesting the checks. As the processor, we don't own the data we deal with, nor do we control it.

This means that we cannot provide the final report to candidates.

As the organisation who has requested the checks acts as the data controller, they can specify how the data is used.

This means that you'll need to contact them directly in order to get a copy of the background check report.
