What is a full file disclosure?

If a candidate wishes to access all the information that Verifile holds on them, they may ask us to disclose their file to them, sometimes called a Subject Access Request.

You can request a full file disclosure by addressing the organisation that requested your background check (Verifile’s client and your prospective employer) and make a Subject Access Request (SAR).

We are the processors of your data and the client is the controller, therefore the request must be made through them as they have the right to disclose the information.

We do not own your information, therefore cannot disclose or share it with you. For more information about how you can access or correct your personal information, request that it be deleted, or ask for it to be transferred to another organisation, please visit our Verifile - privacy notice.

Reminder: Verifile cannot release this information to you. You must contact the organisation who requested the check to be carried out on you.
