Employers can request that we carry out financial history background checks in order to assess the financial background of a prospective employee.
By conducting financial background checks, employers can ensure the prospective employee manages their finances well and is therefore a suitable candidate for the role.
Financial background checks typically include a credit check or a sanctions check, which will reveal any restrictions that the applicant has been subject to by government or regulatory institutions.
Also known as financial integrity checks or civil litigation checks, they may reveal information about any County Court Judgements (CCJs), bankruptcies, decrees, and other similar matters.
Generally, the check covers the previous six years, which is the maximum time period the County Court Judgements records remain available for public access.
