• Will the U.K. Credit Check affect my credit score?

Modified on Mon, 5 Aug at 4:50 PM

The UK Credit Check run by Verifile is completed at a surface level and uses the Electoral roll to verify your current and previous addresses.

The check looks for evidence of bankruptcies, voluntary arrangements (IVAs), County Court Judgements (CCJs) or anything else that raises suspicions of someone’s previous financial dealings.

The UK Credit Check will not affect your credit score, and lenders carrying out credit checks in the future cannot see the footprint of the check.
