• Can I complete a paper Background Screening form?

Verifile uses a bespoke system in order to collect your information for background screening.


When an order is placed by our client (the company requesting your checks), an email is automatically generated and sent to you, including details of how to set up login details. Using these login details, you can access your online candidate portal, where you will be required to provide your information. 

Your information will only be transferred to our system through your candidate portal, so there is no option for a paper screening form.

Please note that your candidate portal flags up errors with the provided information, such as an incorrect driving licence number, insufficient information provided, and gaps in address dates. This is a feature that would not be possible with a paper form, and ensures that the process is as streamlined as possible for both you and the company that has requested your checks.

If you have difficulty accessing the online form, i.e., you don't possess a computer, most libraries can give you access to internet enabled computers.
