Hand Signed Authority Forms are required by most third parties to prove that the candidate has given consent to release their information to Verifile.
The hand signed authority form is proof of the candidate's consent for us to obtain information.
While you may have given us the consent to reach out to your employer when filling out the form, many employers require confirmation of this in order to protect your data. Once accurately completed, we send it to the relevant employer or academic institution, showing them that you are happy for them to provide us with a reference.
If your employer or academic institution has requested that we provide them with an authority form, we will be in touch with this. We will request you to fully and accurately complete the authority form and return it to us.
Authority Forms are also required by overseas third parties for us to carry out international checks, such as credit or Criminal Record checks outsides of the UK. The appropriate authority form will be included in the instructions for your relevant check.
