• My checks were cancelled. What are my next steps?

Verifile background checks may be cancelled for many reasons.

If your checks are cancelled, you'll receive an automated email notifying you of this.

Once cancelled, you cannot log in to the Verifile Candidate Portal to complete anything further.

Verifile are unable to advise you why your checks were cancelled, so we advise you to reach out to your prospective employer/institution for more information—they might advise you why they were cancelled, and what the next steps will be.
