Based on the type of service the client (prospective employer) has ordered, we may or may not provide the candidate an update on a check.
If we can provide an update, we would advise which checks are still in progress and those yet to be completed.
You can, of course, log in to your candidate portal and visualise where you are in the process.
This is a rough guide only and doesn't give timelines.
Look for the multi-coloured pills and select one to see the status of any checks.
We cannot discuss any results of a check. If we cannot provide the update, the candidate must contact the client directly.

A member of the candidate team can provide a brief update on which stage you are in and if any additional information is required.
Note: Verifile is constantly developing our system and processes, and we are exploring other ways to inform you of our progress.
Many Verifile orders have bespoke policies put in place by organisations who order background checks. Sometimes, the employer can only provide updates.
If you are unsure if the employer manages your order; you can contact the Candidate Team or your employer for further clarification.
