• Why has Verifile requested more documents or information?

We may request additional information in order to progress your background check.


Sometimes the information you provide in your candidate portal is only a starting point and may not be enough to complete the background check.

If we have requested further information and have not heard back from you after a certain number of attempts, we may not be able to proceed - meaning your checks could be closed because of insufficient information.

It is vital to respond to our requests in a timely fashion, or keep us updated if you will need more time in order to provide the requested information.
