Verifile acts as the Data Processor, whilst the company requesting your checks is the Data Controller.
This means that without their express permission, we aren't permitted to cancel any of your checks.
If you believe your DBS check—or any of your other checks—are not required for any reason, please discuss this with your prospective employer directly. They will then be able to liaise with us regarding the cancellation of your check.
