• I can't enter my address on the Background Screening form

If you cannot edit your address, we advise you first check to see if we have already added the address to the form.



If your address is pre-populated and greyed out in this section, this means that we pulled the information via Digital ID (usually via an app such as Yoti or Post Office EasyID), and matches the address on whichever document you used.

If the address that shows here is your correct current address, you'll only need to add the move-in date. If this address is not your current address, this means that either: 

1. The document you used showed a previous address, meaning it was not current and valid

In this case, you will need to speak to the company that requested your background check, as Verifile cannot correct this information and a new order will probably be required for you.

or 

    2. Your chosen Digital ID app has read the information on your document wrong.

In this case, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can correct this for you. 


Likewise, if you are unable to add your address for any other reason, please contact us as soon as possible.
