• I need to show my chosen documents in person. How do I do this?

When undergoing a DBS check, you will be required to select a set number of documents in your candidate portal.

Once your information is submitted, you'll receive an email stating that your next steps will be to show these documents to your prospective employer in person.

This part of the process is handled solely between yourself and the organisation requesting your checks. Verifile is not involved in this meeting. To arrange your face-to-face meeting, you will need to discuss this with your prospective employer directly.

Before you attend this meeting, please ensure that all of your documents show your full and current name. The DBS will not accept any documents that have not included your middle name if you hold one, for example.
