• The candidate portal doesn't load on my mobile device

We've discovered an issue where some users on various devices, when trying to access the candidate portal, see green loading dots (on the loading screen) and the site fails to fully load.

 

Below, is the screen users will see, which shows the following error: An unhandled error has occured. Reload.


This issue is due to a caching problem (your web browser saving a local copy of the website from a previous visit). To access the candidate portal, you'll need to delete your browser cache.

 

• iOS 17 users using Safari they can do the following: Go to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Site data > Delete verifile.co.uk.

• iOS 18 users using Safari they can do the following: Go to Settings > Apps > Safari > Advanced > Website data > Delete verifile.co.uk.

Try to load the site again. https://candidateportal.verifile.co.uk.


For other operating systems, such as android, the instructions will likely differ however instructions are freely available online.
