• Why did you reject my passport copy?

Modified on Fri, 9 Aug at 8:40 AM

The rejection of a passport copy may occur for various reasons:

  • The MRZ code (Machine Readable Zone) at the bottom of the passport is cut off or obscured
  • The passport copy is blurry
  • There is a glare covering the personal information
  • All four corners of the passport are not showing
  • A scanned copy of the passport has been provided and cannot be accepted

The technology we use analyses the passport copy to validate authenticity, therefore it is imperative the guidelines above are adhered to.
